Business Solutions Analyst

Synopsis

 

The Business Solutions Analyst will ensure quality assurance of input and output data from Pricing & Revenue Management Systems, maintain reference data of various systems, perform system configuration review tasks periodically and monitor the health state of the RM systems using control check reports. He/She will also work on analytical tools in preventing revenue dilution and improve quality of revenue. The candidate is also expected to develop and maintain performance metrics across all the systems of Solutions and Innovations team. 

Accountabilities


• Perform business user acceptance testing of code releases of existing and new systems. Document the results of test cases as part of acceptance criteria.
• Action pricing and fare abuse violations within specified guidelines
• Investigate and resolve ADM's and revenue recovery disputes with a customer centric approach.
• Analyze errors and patterns of discrepancies.
• Signal trends and provide suggestions for corrective actions.
• Support fraud investigations gathering evidence for further actions.
• Document and maintain standard operating procedures across all RM Solutions and Innovations tools.
• Monitor systems health using control check reports and dashboards based on defined periodicity(daily/weekly/monthly) and take proactive actions for optimal system performance. Automation of systems health check reports using tools such as Power BI, SQL, R, and python
• Raise support trackers for issues identified in the Pricing & RM systems with the respective system providers and work for resolution of trackers with weekly support calls
• Monitor the revenue benefits of the Revenue Management solutions and provide monthly reports on revenue improvements and actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain revenue integrity business processes to identify and cancel PNRs for inventory violations and raise agent debit memos as per the Etihad’s policy

Education & Experience

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, or Business Administration
Administration or equivalent academic qualification.
• 2-4 years of experience in Airline Revenue Management Systems or Business intelligence or equivalent professional work experience. 
• 2-4 years of experience in Revenue Integrity preferred. In depth knowledge of Amadeus GDS mandatory
• Experience within the aviation industry in the areas of Revenue Management, Business Analytics would be
preferred
