At Etihad, we’re looking for individuals who are safety-focused, confident, and committed to delivering exceptional experiences—on every journey.

Here’s what we’re looking for in our future Cabin Crew:

  • Minimum 21 years of age at the time of application
  • Minimum height of 160 cm
  • Able to inspire guests through innovative hospitality
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • High school graduate (Grade 12 or equivalent)
  • No visible tattoos while in Etihad uniform (cosmetic or bandage coverings are not permitted)
  • Comfortable with irregular hours and working on a roster
  • Positive, confident, flexible, and friendly attitude
  • Passion for travel, people, and new experiences
  • Adaptable to diverse teams, cultures, and fast-changing environments
  • Strong sense of personal style, presentation, and professionalism
  • Committed to onboard safety and following all procedures

The recruitment process

Step 1: Application Review

Once you’ve submitted your application, our Talent Acquisition team will carefully review your profile. If your experience and potential align with what we’re looking for, you’ll receive an invitation to complete a short video interview - your chance to bring your personality and passion to life.

Step 2: Assessment Day

If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to an Assessment Day—either virtually or in person, depending on your location. This stage includes:

  • Height and visible tattoo check
  • One-on-one conversation about your experience and motivations
  • A group exercise or role play activity to demonstrate your customer service mindset, teamwork, and communication skills
  • A final interview with our recruitment team
  • An English language proficiency test

This is your opportunity to show us who you are, how you connect with others, and why you’re ready to represent Etihad around the world.

Step 3: Final Review & Outcome

Following your final interview, we’ll carefully review your performance across all stages of the assessment process. Our team will be in touch as soon as possible with an update on your application status.
