Every step is a step forward and at Etihad we are committed to a diverse, innovative collaborative workforce. We are proud to have close to 7,000 women in the workforce across all divisions and departments and we are excited to continue bringing diversity and inclusion to life at Etihad.

Our focus

  • Gender Diversity : At Etihad we want to increase this figure while also increasing the representation of women in leadership roles. We will do this by providing more dedicated support and more tailored opportunities. 


  • Millennial Empowerment : Since 65% of Etihad’s population are Millennials (people in their 20s and 30s), we want to provide them opportunities for empowerment, growth, collaboration and unique experiences so that they want to continue their career with us. 


  • Opportunities for People of Determination : an important part of our community, our aim is to offer internship opportunities in various business areas across Etihad, providing new career paths and development options.

International Air Travel Association’s - ‘25 by 2025'

On 8 March 2020, we pledged to increase our female workforce by 25 percent over the next five years – and are the first airline in the United Arab Emirates to make this commitment. 

This pledge is aligned with the International Air Travel Association’s (IATA) ‘25by2025’ campaign which aims to improve gender balance and increase the female representation within the workforce to 25% within the aviation industry by 2025.
