Synopsis

The Aircraft Paint Technician performs paint tasks/repairs on the Etihad fleet as per Etihad’s GCAA CAR 145 Maintenance approval in accordance with OEM specifications and the approved manuals.

Accountabilities

Assesses the reported paint damages and executes repairs necessary as per OEM instructions.

Reviews the related manuals (i.e. SRM, AMM, CMM, TCDS…) for damage assessments, repair procedures and material identification.

Provides the Aircraft Engineer the necessary information or data related to any paint defect with associated information from the OEM which determines the aircraft’s damage/repair condition.

Documents all work performed in the shift handover to ensure work continuity is clear and consistent.

Maintains a safe and clean work environment.

Fully understands company policies and safety procedures

Education & Experience

Education: High School Certificate or Equivalent.

Formal basic aircraft maintenance training or equivalents is preferable

Experience: Five years working in an Aviation environment. In addition, you must be proficient in aircraft painting including composite and metallic structures,

3 years of aircraft painting experience preferably with Airlines or MRO
