Synopsis

The Airline Partnerships Officer supports in executing the airlines FFP partnership strategy. This role will be responsible for owning key a operational processes and working with partners to guarantee smooth operations and managing campaigns to ensure partner growth. With focus on automation to continuously deliver an enriched member experience. Working with administrative systems (Ariba), Global Distribution System and legal contractual processes as well as external partners. Collaboration with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, procurement and marketing as well as external partners will be a core part of the role.

Accountabilities

  • Support delivery in the execution/on-boarding of airline partnerships strategy from an operational & administrative perspective. Working closely with the line manager, internal stakeholders & partners. 
  • Supporting airline partnerships launches & initiatives working closely with line manager & alliances team to meet support incremental revenue growth.
  • Track and report on key partnership performance indicators, including member engagement, redemption activity, and commercial performance. Provide actionable insights to the manager to improve partnership outcomes.
  • Manage the monthly billing and reconciliation process (for Travel Partnerships) with internal and external stakeholders. Address any dispute & conduct system health checks to ensure on-time invoice settlement.
  • Ability to independently set-up cadence meetings with partners & internal stakeholders to support business development & discuss marketing initiatives.
  • Support testing for system enhancements, for the purpose of process re-engineering. Working closely with the projects team to deliver travel partnerships projects.
  • Co-ordinate with vendors & partners on a regular basis to enhance processes & fix bugs.
  • Document & analyze the file exchange process, report anomalies & progress. With Focus on process automations solution.
  • Support the accrual process by monitoring & processing files, working closely with the line manager to achieve set targets within agreed SLAs.
  • Coordinating BAU requirements from member services teams and partners with operational & administrative items within an agreed SLA. Closing out member queries with resolutions in a tactful manner.
  • Ensure all processes & integration are well documented as required to ensure business continuity

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a loyalty program, preferably within the aviation industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders, work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data analysis and problem-solving skills, strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), airline and loyalty systems a plus.
