Cabin Cleaning Manager (Etihad Airport Services)

Synopsis

In this role as a Cabin Cleaning Manager, you would be leading and managing the development and delivery of cabin appearance for all airline aircraft, ensuring cleaning, disinfection and dressing is delivered efficiently and satisfies all safety, security and compliance requirements.

Accountabilities

• Manage all cabin cleaning, disinfection and dressing operations. 
• Ensure sufficient staff levels through efficient rostering, including any personnel from outsourced external service providers, to cover all airline operational requirements and schedules without disruption. 
• Deliver against agreed SLA and KPI targets from the airlines, including but not limited to on-time performance.
• Ensure clear and accurate recording and reporting of cabin cleaning, disinfection, dressing and associated tasks in accordance with the airline requirements, to ensure traceability of tasks carried out and any deviations or occurrences. 
• Ensure cost effective business planning, purchasing and delivery, including management of cost control in accordance with company targets and industry best practice, and performance against budget targets.
• Ensure personnel health and safety through provision of appropriate personal protective equipment, training, risk assessment and documented procedures for safe delivery of tasks.
• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to airlines, airport authority and outsourced external service providers.
• Document, maintain and communicate cabin cleaning, disinfection and dressing policies and procedures, including all applicable safety and security standards and requirements.
• Make day-to-day operational decisions to manage and mitigate operational safety and security-related risks, through effective evaluation and decision-making based on conditions, hazards and threats. 
• Escalate medium or higher-level risks to appropriate senior management or executive level personnel.

Education & Experience

High school or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 
Subject matter expert (SME) with 10 years proven demonstrable knowledge and relevant industry experience in airport operations preferably in a Management/Supervision role.
In-depth knowledge of the cabin cleaning and disinfection operations.
