Synopsis

Support the implementation and monitoring of Etihad’s Quality Management Program for food safety and Halal compliance across F&B and service partners. Ensure adherence to UAE and international regulations and assist with audits, documentation, and training activities under the guidance of the Manager.

 

Accountabilities

  • Support compliance efforts with Etihad Catering and F&B partners on food safety, Halal, and HACCP requirements.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and assist in updating internal policies and procedures to reflect compliance needs.
  • Assist in planning and executing audits and inspections across the supplier network.
  • Contribute to the development and upkeep of food safety, Halal, and quality assurance documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders on complaint investigations and documentation follow-up.
  • Support documentation processes during new vendor onboarding and contract periods.
  • Track performance data and assist in preparing reports on compliance trends and audit outcomes.
  • Help organize and deliver basic training sessions on food safety, hygiene, and allergen awareness.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance-related activities, audit results, and corrective actions.
  • Assist in managing allergen and ingredient declarations and coordinating recall procedures as needed..

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Environmental Health, or related discipline.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in food safety, HACCP, or quality assurance within catering, food manufacturing, or hospitality.
  • Formal HACCP training and certification in food safety auditing preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to work cross-functionally.
