Synopsis

Manage leave liability of Pilots and Cabin Crew members, allocation and tracking of annual leave entitlements. Deliver annual leave award, handle intake of leave requests, changes and new joiner leave allocation based on employee eligibility. Collaborate on system enhancements and development.

Accountabilities

  • Coordination with all aspects of Pilot and Cabin crew members annual leave with efficient allocation resulting in no loss of opportunity.
  • Manage annual leave allocation in line with Crew Leave Management process and HR policies.
  • Administer the annual leave award ballot, from system set up and testing, process documentation, and communication.
  • Review & track leave balances aiming for zero leave liability.
  • Proactive communication of leave slot availability when opens up for crew members to take leave, avoiding last minute allocation to leave liability by business to crew members.
  • Develop and maximize leave system capabilities evolving alongside network schedule changes.
  • Work with manpower planning and roster planners coordinating opportunity for leave liability from month to month.Manage crew members with high hours offering leave in months where flying requirement is low.
  • Provide support to Pilots and Cabin Crew members with feedback to leave queries, leave bidding & outcomes, process information contributing to knowledge and understanding.
  • Maintain crew leave management process documentation with leave allocation, leave changes and leave swaps. Conduct reviews of processes to ensure compliance.
  • Enhance system capabilities, through continuous development and innovation.
  • Support HR business partner queries with exit formalities and annual leave balance information.

Education & Experience

Post-secondary education (i.e. diploma, degree and/or courses in related fields or equivalent work experience). Degree with 1-2 year work experience required.
