Synopsis

The Engineering Officer – Airworthiness Support assists the Engineering & Standards department in carrying out its airworthiness functions as outlined in the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME).

Accountabilities

  • Assist in the creation, amendment, and implementation of the Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) within the Maintenance Information System (AMOS).
  • Define, set up, and control part data (Part Number Master) within AMOS to influence operations, airworthiness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support the development and enhancement of the Etihad Airways Reliability Program.
  • Ensure Technical Publications are effectively managed by tracking, receiving, and distributing all source and engineering documents as required.

Education & Experience

  • Degree, Diploma, or Aircraft Maintenance License, with a minimum of one year of experience in aviation maintenance or another engineering field (preferably Airline Engineering). This requirement may be reduced to 3 to 6 months at the discretion of the hiring Head of Department (HoD).
  • Alternatively, three years of experience in an aviation engineering or production environment.
