What we offer

We offer a competitive annual package, which includes your basic salary, flying pay, housing allowance to secure your dream home of your choice, and layover and meal allowances. There is the opportunity to earn up to 513,732 AED (USD 138,318) tax-free per annum based on 75 hours of flying per month. There are annual increments to the salary based on performance and we also offer additional benefits, including:

The role

  • Conduct the flight in compliance with the current flight plan, SOPs and the Captain's instructions when the Captain is not at the controls notify him/her of any change to the current flight plan, ATC or geographical position upon their return.

  • Assist the Captain as requested, concerning any administrative duties in relation to the flight

  • Confirm the safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining a continuous and independent check upon both the geographical position of the aircraft ensuring safe terrain and weather clearance

  • Maintain high personal standard of discipline, conduct and appearance as a representative of Etihad Airways at all times

 

What you’ll bring

To be considered, you will need to meet the following criteria:  

 

  • A minimum of 2500 hours total flying time.
  • A minimum of 1500 hours on multi crew, glass cockpit (1) or high performance military jet.
  • Should have been on one of the Boeing glass cockpits within the last 3 years.
  • Minimum 500hrs on 777/787 and current.
  • Currently flying any commercial/charter aircraft above medium aircraft type (7000kg)
  • ICAO current and unrestricted ATPL. We do not accept Frozen ATPL unless held by a UAE citizen.
  • Unrestricted, current Class 1 medical.
  • Maximum age limit is 50 years old.
  • English Language Fluency (written and verbal) Level 4 or better.
  • In case of hours accumulated on flights with inflight relief, 75% of the total hours shall be counted towards the required minimums.
