Synopsis

In this role as a Head of Global Airports, you are accountable to lead, plan and direct the Global Airport operations across 100+ stations, overseeing its workforce development, financial, quality, and operational mission and objectives, in accordance with agreed divisional safety and guest service standards.

Accountabilities

•    Accountable for the setting and achievement of strategic standards to meet safety, guest service, security, financial, quality and operational objectives for global airports operation - ensuring consistency, sustainability and excellence in their delivery across the network .
•    Accountable for the establishment and ongoing management of a sound working professional relationship with all internal and external stakeholders across all airports in the network, joint ventures airlines, local authorities and ground handlers.
•    Accountable to nurture strong leadership of the global airports workforce, delivering on staff development and performance, mentoring, performance management and succession planning. 
•    Accountable for the global airports short and long term - financial and budget plans. Responsible for the efficient management of the workforce, ensuring optimum utilization of resource management across the network. 
•    Lead and drive the Etihad purpose, vision, mission, and values for world class guest experience delivery across the global airports. 
•    Accountable for sustainable strategic plans, policies, and procedures to deliver world class best airport operations. 
•    Drive best practices to improve and enhance operations through ongoing identification and management of non-compliance or areas of improvement across safety, security, quality, and operations. 
•    Accountable for strategic plans to support operational growth such as station start-ups and flight schedules increases to deliver the expected Etihad Airways guest experience standards and meet approved business plan. 
•    Lead the global airports and drive employee engagement, a high performance culture that gives emphasizes to leadership, empowerment, communication, quality, productivity.

Education & Experience

•    Degree level education required. 
•    Minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience in a leadership role or senior management capacity with exposure to global Airport operations. 
•    Experience managing global airport operations across multiple continents and diverse work force.
•    Competencies include - Leadership, People Management, Decision Making, Results Driven, Strategic thinking and planning, Safety focused and Guest Centric mindset and Stakeholder management.
