As a Licensed Aircraft Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance checks, simple servicing tasks, and inspections of a wide range of aircraft to ensure airworthiness and operational efficiency.

Accountabilities

  • Conducts scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on aircraft components following relevant technical manuals and guidelines.
  • Perform inspections, servicing tasks, and component replacements to maintain airworthiness standards in accordance with Etihad’s CAT A approval scope.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and avionic defects to ensure safe and efficient aircraft operation.
  • Complete required documentation, including maintenance records, work orders, and service reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to address complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols throughout all maintenance activities.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and professional development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Education & Experience

  • Valid aircraft maintenance license (GCAA or ICAO TYPE II CAT A or B1/B2) with 3 years of documented airline or MRO Line Maintenance experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility to work in shifts, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced aviation environment.
  • Ability to adhere to safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve maintenance objectives.
  • Must be able to obtain a valid UAE driver’s license and an airport driving permit during probation period.
