Synopsis
Are you an employee-centric HR professional? The Manager, Employee Wellbeing & Recognition is responsible for developing and implementing holistic wellbeing strategies that support the physical, emotional, and mental health of Etihad employees as well as recognition frameworks that drives productivity and strengthens sense of belonging. This role will lead initiatives that foster a culture of care, resilience, and inclusion, ensuring wellbeing and recognition are embedded across the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for employee wellness and recognition, with strong storytelling and presentation skills to influence senior leadership and drive organisational change.
Accountabilities
Recognition programmes
- Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide recognition initiatives that celebrate employee contributions and anchor Etihad’s core values.
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications and Talent Strategy & Culture departments to ensure recognition programmes are inclusive, visible, and impactful.
- Measure programme effectiveness and continuously improve based on feedback and data.
Employee wellbeing
- Design and execute comprehensive wellbeing programmes aligned with Etihad’s PG&CA strategy, across physical, mental and emotional, financial, and social pillars.
- Develop and manage wellbeing campaigns, workshops, and resources tailored to diverse employee needs.
- Champion wellbeing across the organisation through training, leadership engagement, and cultural integration, across the entire employee journey (from onboarding to offboarding).
Storytelling and leadership engagement
- Craft compelling narratives and presentations that bring wellbeing and recognition strategies to life.
- Present proposals and programme outcomes to senior leadership, securing buy-in and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop visually engaging PowerPoint decks and executive summaries tailored to different audiences.
Project management and governance
- Manage cross-functional projects with clear timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure governance and documentation of all wellbeing and recognition policies and procedures, in collaboration with the Policies team.
- Review and update Intranet content for constant alignment with published policies and procedures.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, public health, or related field.
- Advanced degree or certification in wellbeing is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in employee wellbeing, health promotion, recognition, or related HR functions.
- Proven ability to present to senior leadership and influence strategic decisions.
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with advanced PowerPoint proficiency.
- Experience in aviation, hospitality, or global organisations is highly desirable.
