Synopsis
The Manager HR Data, Reporting and Analytics will be a member of the HR Analytics team and will support multiple HR groups to connect and correlate data points from the different systems to draw workforce insights, identify automation opportunities, and decision-making by designing remarkedly thoughtful HR digital decision support tools. The position requires strong data wrangling and problem-solving skills, together with project management and agile methodologies experience to enable data-driven decisions about talent.
You will be the data and analytics champion and trusted advisor for all HR analytics initiatives in this role. In addition, you will own and manage multiple data initiatives and projects both on an on-going and an ad-hoc basis; and will also play a leadership role in enhancing data literacy within the wider HR team.
Accountabilities
- Act as a change leader and initiator and effectively utilize change methodologies to design and deploy HR reporting and analytics solutions
- Actively participate in professional organizations and stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in HR technology and future of work practices.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the HR team to solve key business questions and hypotheses, employing consulting techniques to prioritise analytical projects effectively according to impact.
- Be a key partner and stakeholder manager for HR domain and business leaders in the translation of business needs into sustainable analytics and insights
- Develop Tableau/Power BI dashboards and reports that adhere to the visualization best practices and communicate a story.
- Partner and collaborate with IT teams to build and successfully implement HR data warehouse.
- Develop new data models and manage Referential data.
- Analysing HR data in to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identifying and troubleshooting data discrepancies and pro-actively work with HR and functional teams to resolve issues.
- Validates and enforces people data integrity in collaboration with Data management & HR Systems teams.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, process documentation, and training materials to ensure consistent and accurate data management practices.
- Generate and implement ideas to continuously improve analytics and reporting services delivery.
- Partner with the HR Employee Experience Lead to drive employee experience and human-centric design in how Etihad people leaders use and interacts with HR reports and workforce decision processes
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or Business Administration
- Minimum 5+ years of working experience in a complex numerate and analytical environment, experience
- Related work experience in defining and deploying workforce analytics and /or management decision support products
- Advanced know how in HR technology and analytics
- Experience developing strong relationships across multiple stakeholder groups at all levels of the organisation
- 3+ years of experience using database querying tools and ability to write complex queries using Azure, SQL and/or Microsoft SQL, Python
- Ability to work with large data sets both structured and unstructured data.
- Analytical and data-focused thinking, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail.
- Expertise in data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques preferred
