Manager Projects - Technical Supply Chain

Synopsis

As a Project manager, you are accountable to lead the delivery of long-term technical Supply Chain projects/programs to ensure objectives are met according to plan, schedule, and budget to meet business objectives

Accountabilities

• To lead cost efficiency projects across the Technical Supply Chain
• To identify, develop and implement cost savings initiatives across the Technical Supply Chain
• Develop business cases to support the cost / benefits evaluation of proposed projects to ensure its feasibility.
• Lead the development of large project proposals and solution plans according to internal methodologies to ensure the feasibility of the initiatives
• Create, monitor and update program work plans to ensure requirements are managed and projects are delivered on time and on budget
• Communicate to the project sponsor / business leads to ensure delivery of key messages to relevant stakeholders for effective decision making.
• Analyse and review change requests to ensure impact on timelines and budget is properly evaluated
• Report on key milestones and issues to senior stakeholders to ensure critical areas are addressed on time and in the best manner
• Manage all operational issues to ensure resolution in an effective and timely manner.
• Lead program monitoring activities to ensure major risks and issues are highlighted and managed on a timely and efficient manner
• Contribute to developing / improving policies, standards, core processes principles, to ensure continuous development of Project Management methodologies
• Participate in the development of Etihad's Project Management framework and handbook to provide continuous update and alignment to best in class methodologies.
 

Education & Experience

• Minimum Bachelor Degree or anything above (i.e. vocational certificate / Bachelor Degree / Master degree)
• Project management qualification (e.g. PMP, APM, or PMI membership) or proven knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile Project Management) is preferred
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in relevant field of which 3 years in a managerial position.
• Hands -on experience working on Programs/projects focused on Cost & Efficiency.
• Experience in building Business cases to support the cost / benefits evaluation of proposed projects to ensure its feasibility.
• Experience working within Aviation is highly preferred.
