Synopsis

As a Manager Technical Records, you are responsible to ensure and maintain the Maintenance Records processes and standards are in compliance to CAR M 305, CAR M 714 and other applicable regulations.

Accountabilities

 

  • Maintain the Aircraft records including retention, archival and preservation processes are in accordance with applicable regulations and company procedures.
  • Ensure to maintain all records of compliance through ADs, STCs & AMOCs applicable to Etihad Aircrafts.
  • Ensures that airworthiness records for Hard time, Life limited parts and On-Condition/Condition Monitoring components records are maintained in accordance to CAR M 305
  • Maintain the Aircraft, Assemblies, engines and components configuration build-up in the Maintenance Information System.
  • Monitor the process of the flying hours update into the MIS.
  • Coordinates the data collection of maintenance records for all lease agreement and aircraft transfer.
  • Ensures all findings from Regulatory and Quality audit in his/her area are address in timely manner.
  • Setting up of new Etihad Airways aircraft and Engines into the company Maintenance Information System (AMOS).
  • Ensuring data entry activities oversight is carried-out through review and sample auditing.
  • Ensuring a review of all maintenance records pertaining to a newly or used acquired Aircraft to Etihad Fleet (from previous operator or manufacturer) as per regulatory requirements of aircraft registration & contractual requirements of a leased aircraft.
  • Ensuring the transfer of all Etihad Aircrafts retained records to new owner/operator in addition to any reports/statements contractually required.
  • Notify Quality and Safety and Engineering of any non-compliance issue with regard to Airworthiness records, configuration and system set-up which impact the continuing Airworthiness of the fleet.
  • Addresses all findings from Regulatory and Quality audit in his/her area are address in timely manner.
  • Implement SMS systems and processes and ensure formal Risk Assessments are carried out for operationally significant changes.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor degree in the field of Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic or Aircraft license ICAO Type II License (with 10 years of experience in aviation maintenance)
  • Minimum of Five years in Technical Records and Configuration Control
  • Ability to use different computer applications and platforms
  • Ability to read and understand the regulations along with problem solving and research skills.
  • In-depth knowledge on GCAA CAR M regulations
  • Sufficient understanding of the 145 regulation which drive Technical Records requirement
