Synopsis

This role is critical in driving the successful execution of strategic initiatives across the Loyalty team. As a Project Manager tasked with championing the project management of such initiatives, you will be responsible for leading projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering value. This role warrants active collaboration across different Etihad and vendor teams.

Accountabilities

  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with teams to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives. Support in the definition, and implement, a robust prioritization framework, across initiatives. 
  • Project Initiation: Work with Product team(s) to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments. Secure necessary approvals and resources. 
  • Project Planning and Execution: Create detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and task assignments. Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues. Proactively manage project scope, schedule, and budget. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders. Facilitate tracking of key financials pertaining to implementation costs and tracking project/programme success by tracking key metrics and KPIs. 
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans to address potential issues. Monitor and track risk throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Manage expectations and address stakeholder concerns.
  • Change Management: Identify and manage changes to project scope, schedule, or budget and minimize the impact of changes. Identify, document, and manage implementation of cross-functional process change impact for initiatives impacting front-line agents and guests. 
  • Project Closure: Conduct a final project review and evaluation. Document lessons learned and best practices. Ensure project deliverables are handed over to relevant teams.
  • PMO Support: Contribute to the development and maintenance of PMO standards, templates, and processes. Provide support to project teams in areas such as methodology, tools, and best practices

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management or Technology related Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of Project Management Experience 
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2) Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred, with proficiency in PM tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira) 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
