Senior Inventory Analyst

Synopsis
Set controls on the technical inventory to support part’s availability and Service Levels for Technical operations in the most cost-effective manner. Lead a team of inventory analysts to ensure all aspects of inventory management, such as operations support, investment analysis, surplus management and inventory oversight are maintained and organized across the team.
Accountabilities
- Publish KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and operational dashboards to monitor supply chain performance.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and liaise with respective stakeholders to improve data quality in ERP.
- Analyze inventory levels for consumable & rotable parts and provide recommendations to respective stakeholders.
- Ensure inventory report preparation and variance analysis with finance reports.
- Develop inventory holding strategies and classify active, surplus, excess inventory.
- Support annual budget preparation and monitor budgeted vs. actual spend.
- Develop, establish and manage relationships with surplus customers and ensure optimum revenue is generated from surplus sales to meet target.
- Support in developing processes & departmental manuals and keeping them up to date and in compliance with regulators and organizational requirements.
- Support Audits and any ad hoc project assigned to achieve department goal.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or equivalent technical degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain data analytics & inventory management preferably within aviation industry.
- Good understanding of aviation ERP inventory and materials management modules, preferably AMOS.
- Expert level knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Oracle SQL (preferred).
- Strategic & tactical thinking, analytical mind and cost management experience are required.
- Preferred to have understanding of aviation parts & supply chain functions.
- A resilient candidate with ability to adapt to different and multicultural environments & work under pressure.
- Self-motivated team player and excellent written & verbal communication skills.
