Synopsis

As the Senior Market Manager – Joint Venture at Etihad Airways, you will lead the team managing pricing and commercial strategies across Joint Venture markets. You will be accountable for driving PRASK, ensuring strategic alignment with partner carriers, and delivering total network value. This includes managing a team of Pricing Managers and collaborating with partner airlines on performance steering, governance, and coordinated execution.

 

Accountabilities

  • Leadership: Manage the JV pricing team, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and business priorities.
  • JV Strategy: Define pricing and commercial strategies across all JV markets, aligned with JV governance and market needs.
  • Partner Coordination: Lead coordination with JV partners on pricing governance, approvals, and business cases.
  • Performance Management: Monitor market performance, analyze KPIs, and steer corrective actions to drive PRASK.
  • Tactical Execution: Guide tactical pricing responses during key periods and oversee partner alignment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Represent JV markets in cross-functional meetings and ensure transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Systems and Tools: Oversee optimal use of pricing and reporting tools to support performance analysis and forecasting.
  • Governance Support: Represent Etihad in JV pricing committees, ensuring compliance and alignment.
  • Team Development: Coach and support Pricing Managers to deliver results and grow in their roles.

 

Education & Experience

  • Educated to degree level or with relevant analytical experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of working experience, with at least 2 years in a mid/senior management role in a numerate and analytical environment within the airline revenue and commercial area.
  • Strong experience with Joint Venture pricing strategy, including partner pricing governance, offline market pricing, and interline/codeshare commercial management.
  • High proficiency in airline systems such as O&D pricing, ATPCO, GDS, DDS, and tools like Tableau.
  • Proven ability to coach, motivate, and lead a team to meet and exceed goals.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership experience.
