Synopsis
We're looking for a seasoned Solutions Delivery Manager with deep experience in the Amadeus Altéa Suite to lead delivery across high-impact airline tech projects. You'll act as the key interface between Etihad’s business units and Amadeus—driving solution delivery, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring project success across multiple workstreams.
This is a fixed-term role through end of 2025, offering the chance to contribute to strategic transformation initiatives. While it's a contract position, there is strong potential for extension or permanency based on performance and evolving business needs.
Accountabilities
- Serve as the primary interface between Etihad's business unites and Amadeus to oversee both the commercial and technical aspects projects, solutions delivery, and releases.
- Manage the P&L for projects related to add-ons and enhancements to the Amadeus systems and services across various business units.
- Build and lead high-performing, self-organising cross-functional teams to deliver all components of assigned work within defined time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Foster a team culture rooted in collaboration, innovation, Agile delivery, cross-skilling, stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement, and shared success.
- Facilitate key Agile ceremonies and collaborative activities, including discovery workshops, estimations, feature elaboration, release and iteration planning, daily stand-ups, Scrum-of-Scrums, retrospectives, and showcases.
- Own and ensure the realisation of benefits for all projects under your leadership.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with the Amadeus Altéa Suite, including managing programs involving functional changes across multiple Altéa modules, is essential.
- Certification in Agile Project Management or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- Proven expertise in managing multiple large-scale technology projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to tailor and blend approaches to suit project and business needs.
- Strong understanding of how airlines leverage the Amadeus Altéa Suite to drive commercial outcomes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to assess and resolve complex project risks and issues with accuracy and objectivity.
- Experience in technology vendor account management is a plus.
