Transport Supervisor

Synopsis

Coordinate ground supporting activities during aircrafts stop and turn-around to ensure safety and regulatory compliance of loading and unloading activities.

Accountabilities

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute, overview and monitor ground and ramp operations to ensure aircraft protection and safety in compliance with safety instructions and procedures

• Coordinate technical operations and assigned tasks of small team of agents to ensure smooth running of activities
• Supervise the build-up and breakdown of aircraft Unit Load Devices to ensure loaded goods are processed in accordance with Load Planning
• Coordinate and monitor baggage transportation to ensure timely arrival in the landing area
• Overview and monitor a wide range of pre ? flight operations and checks to ensure safe and timely departure of the flights
• Cooperate with balancing experts to maximize loading effectiveness in compliance with procedures and cost minimization
• Follow and monitor the adherence of agents to loading instructions to ensure accurate and correct loading operations

Education & Experience

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Diploma (2 years or more), UAE Driving license and relevant licenses specific to vehicles according to UAE regulations are required, ADP / ADAS Specific Equipment Licenses and Ramp/Freighter Handling certification are preferred, English language is mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant field
