In this role, you will lead the implementation of sales & marketing plans & programs within area of responsibility (territory and/or channel), to ensure consistent growth and to meet overall Etihad sales and revenue targets.
Accountabilities
- Participate in defining sales strategy and objectives to ensure alignment with overall Etihad objectives and external trends in conjunction with the General Manager. Develop, implement and manage the local sales channel strategy with guidance from the Business Development Unit in order to ensure the maximization of Etihad reach and revenue and profitability possibilities.
- Partner with Sales Strategy and Planning to develop, monitor and report on sales plans to ensure sales strategy is properly implemented across the markets and that all available tools, data and insight are being effectively used to ensure expected results are reached.
- Working with the regional business development unit, define territory/channel sales targets to ensure consistent contribution to overall Etihad results.
- Manage and coordinate dealing with partners to ensure achievement of agreed targets and respect of terms and conditions
- Develop and implement sales & marketing initiatives to ensure key revenue targets are met within budget
- Monitor sales KPIs and dashboards (based on revenue and cost of sale targets) to identify areas of improvement, new initiatives and propose corrective actions
- Develop close working relationships with local and international partners to identify joint marketing activities and strategies to boost sales
- Act as a sounding board and business partner to create and update current policies and stakeholder contracts ensuring compliance with the Etihad’s processes, policies, tools and the overall business strategy.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business or relevant Commercial & analytical work experience
- 5 years airline experience required in sales/trade/corporate
- Holder of a valid driving licence
- Salary range between 9,000 USD to 10,000 USD base per month
